And, it looks as if AAA may not be releasing any predictions for Labor Day travel; although, AAA did predict in June that, between July 1 and Sept. 30, a total of about would be on the roads. That’s a 3.3 percent decrease when compared with the same three-month period in 2019.

Then, too, you also need to take the typical precautions of making sure your car is ready for the trip. Consumer Reports suggests you include these items in your pre-trip checkup: fluids, hoses, belts, air filter, radiator, battery, wipers, brakes, lights and tires.
